Couverture de cahier

Voici mon travail depuis dimanche: faire des couvertures pour des cahiers.
Here is my project since sunday: make book covers.

Etape 1:

Mesurer le cahier ou livre. Dans sa largeur (X) et dans sa hauteur (Y). Pour sa largeur, mesurer d'un côté à l'autre et calculer une entrée de tissu de 10 cm pour chaque couverture, pour sa hauteur ajouter 1 cm seulement.
Mesure the book. Its length (X) and higth (Y). For the length mesure from one side of the book to the other and add an extra 10 cm on each side for the covers, for the hight just add 1 cm.

Etape 2:

Coupez le tissu. Couper du biais pour faire tout le tour du tissu.
Cut the fabric. Cut the bias binding in order to go arround the fabric.

Voilà pour ces deux étapes, j'ai couvert un cahier avec du tissu et vais faire du point de croix sur une pochette, j'ai couvert un deuxième cahier avec du lin et vais faire du point de croix directement dessus... à suivre.

There are my first two steps, I covered one book with fabric and am going to stitch on a piece of linen and make a pocket, I covered a second book directly with linen and am going to cross stitch directly on it...to be continued.
