SAL Retour de Brocant IV janvier 2013

Voici l'étape du mois de janvier pour le SAL 2013.

Donc voici les informations pour la réalisation:

Toile en lin 12 fils bistre (largeur 100 cm, hauteur 140 cm), j'ai laissé une marge de 20 cm de chaque côté ne sachant pas quelle utilisation je vais en faire.

Fil: DMC 815 brodé en 2 fils de coton sur 2 fils de trame.

Objectif de février: W X Y et Z (une lettre par semaine)

Here is the january step to be done. The final size of my linen is 1 meter large and I left the 1m40 hight for now, I left 20 cm on each side not knowing what will be my use of it.

SAL Retour de Brocante IV

J'ai commencé la broderie pour vous donner un aperçu du modèle, j'ai divisé le modèle sur 18 mois.

Je vais travailler sur un lin 12 fils bistre avec du fil DMC 815 en 2 fils de coton sur 2 fils de trame. J'ai préparé un coupon de 120 cm x 140 cm.

Je commence par le bas avec la première frise pour le mois de Janvier.

I am starting a new SAL for 2013, this design is Retour de Brocante IV, I will be doing it during 18 months. I will be stitching on a 12 threads per cm natural color linen, I will be stitching with a red DMC 815, I will be using 2 threads of coton on 2 threads of linen.

The first part will be the bottom line, that will be the objectif for January.

Bonjour à toutes les participantes, voici les objectifs du mois de Janvier: 5 lettres.
Moi je commence par la fin!! Je vous propose une lettre "rouge" par semaine, mais pour vous donner un aperçu du résultat, j'ai déjà brodé  4 objectifs de ce mois de janvier.

Je vous propose de vous mettre les étapes le lundi, donc aujourd'hui c'est la lettre "Z" qui est à broder avec les lettres en backstitch, j'ai brodé 5 rangées de backstitch.

Elibouban en rouge

 

Voici enfin la photo de mon Elibouban en rouge sur du lin 12 fils en 2 fils de coton sur 2 fils de trame, je n'avais pas terminé de broder la dernière frise du haut, et depuis mon retour de Création et Savoir Faire je termine enfin tous mes en-cours!

Here is finally my picture of Elibouban, I've stitched it in red on 12 threads per cm, I had not finished stitching the last line on top of the design, and since I've come back from my last fair in Paris, I've stitching all my "unfinished" cross stitches!!

Voici le SAL que je vous propose de réaliser à partir de Janvier, je propose de broder une lettre par semaine (comme à mon habitude, je vais commencer par la fin, c'est à dire le "Z"!!).

Le nom du modèle est "Ecriture II" (Alice and Co), le prix de la fiche est de 10 euros. Vous pouvez le commander sur www.alice-and-co-shop.com .

Le modèle fait 290 points de large et 142 points de haut, je vais le broder sur du lin 12 fils bistre en DMC 815, je vais broder l'alphabet en arrière plan en gris.

A passer toutes mes journées à la boutique, j'avais oublié de vous prévenir de la dernière étape d'Elibouban. SAL Elibouban - Juillet

Oups! Avec l'ouverture de la boutique j'ai oublié de mettre l'avant dernière étape du SAL qui est celui de Juillet, donc une frise et un alphabet pour ce mois-ci!

Sachant que la boutique sera ouverte tous les jours de juillet et août, il va falloir que j'emporte Elibouban au travail!!

Oups! With the opening of the shop I forgot to post the july step of the SAL, we have a band and a row of letters.

As the shop will be opened from monday to sunday all july and august, I'll have to take Elibouban with me to work!!

SAL Elibouban - photo mai et juin

J'avais un mois de retard, j'ai réussi à finir mes deux étapes la semaine dernière.

Plus que deux étapes pour finir ce modèle "Marquoir d'Elibouban".

<Aux participantes à ce SAL inscrites au SAL suivant: avec l'ouverture tout l'été d'une boutique, je ne vais pas pouvoir préparer un nouveau modèle pour septembre. Je vous propose donc le SAL suivant pour décembre, je vous le posterai en novembre.>

I was a month late, but I managed last week to stitch both steps, may and june. Only two more steps before finishing this design. 

<To the ladies that registered to the next SAL when you ordered this one: since I'll be opening a shop this summer, I won't really have time to prepare a design for september. So I suggest to start the next SAL in december, I'll be sending you the design  in november.>

SAL Elibouban - Etape 1

Voici la première étape à broder: une frise de fleurs avec les deux bandes.

Here is the first step to be stitched: a row of flowers and two strips.
Make sure to change the grid, as you can see there is a mistake on the second to last flower, so I changed the last eight columns.

Attention à rectifier l'erreur sur le modèle:

Voici la grille que vous avez, vous pouvez constater que la fleur du bas a un défaut, il faut modifier les huit dernières colonnes comme ce qui suit:

SAL Elibouban

Je suis de retour chez moi, suite à une crise le weekend avant Créations et Savoir Faire de ma vésicule biliaire (salon auquel j'ai participé  pas en très grande forme, veuillez m'en excuser!!), j'ai donc eu mon opération mercredi dernier, et celle-ci ne me fera plus jamais souffrir puisqu'elle a été retirée!! J'ai ordre de me reposer, mais "chose promise - chose due", voici les étapes du SAL Elibouban.

I am back home, got my gall bladder taken out last week, so I'm suppose to be resting, but I promised that we would be starting the SAL Elibouban so here are the steps.

Vous avez donc la grille (sinon vous pouvez la commander sur www.alice-and-co.com), vous avez libre choix de la toile et des couleurs de fils. Je vais broder "Le Marquoir d'Elibouban" sur un lin bistre 12 fils au cm, en deux fils de coton DMC 815 sur 2 fils de trame.

You have the grid (if you don't you can order it on my website www.alice-and-co-shop.com ), you are free to pick the fabric and thread color that you want. I'll be stitching it on a 12 count per cm blackish-brown linen, I'll be stitching with two threads of DMC 815 coton on two threads of the linen. 

Voici des idées de couleurs si vous souhaitez broder ce modèle en trois couleurs (n'hésitez pas à laisser un message avec vos choix de toile et de couleur de fils afin de partager ou de donner des idées aux autres participantes):

Here are some ideas of colors if you wish to stitch this design in three colors (don't hesitate to leave a message with your choice of fabric and thread colors in order to share with all the participants your ideas):

  Pour les étapes:

Ce SAL va se dérouler sur 9 mois avec une ou plusieurs bandes par mois, je vais commencer par le bas (je commence tous mes ouvrages par le bas, j'avais commencé "Le Marquoir du Jardin" par le haut donc cette fois-ci je vais commencer par le bas!!).

For the steps: this SAL will last 9 months, each month will be either one or more rows, I'll be starting by the bottom (I always start by the bottom, and since I started "The Garden Marquoir" by the top, I had to start this one by the bottom!!).

Trois rectificatifs sont à faire sur la grille: le premier est une erreur de couleur sur la frise de mars dans le cas où vous brodiez en trois couleurs (il faut alterner les couleurs des fleurs).

I found three mistakes on the grid that need to be changed: the first one is just a color mistake on the march row, somewhere in the middle, I missed a flower, so all the flowers should alternate colors).
The second one is on the bottom row of the december step, I made a mistake on the flower second to the right, you have the copy of the original chart and a copy of the correct chart below.
The third one is the "Z" on the alphabet ot the february step, this one needs to come back one stitch, the copy of the original chart and the corrected chart below.

Le deuxième est valable pour tous les modèles, la deuxième fleur du bord droit de l'étape de décembre a une erreur, il faut donc remplacer cela par la nouvelle grille fournie ci-dessous.

Le troisième est valable pour tous les modèles, le "Z" sur l'alphabet de février  est décalé d'un point vers la droite.
